Welcome to Casa Yerbabuena, our cherished home in San Miguel de Allende, one of Mexico's most renown colonial cities.

Casa Yerbabuena sits on a quiet street in the neighborhood of San Antonio, a 20-minute-walk from the center of town and ten minutes from the famous art school, Instituto Allende.

The house is in the vibrant neighborhood that fans out around San Antonio church and the plaza in front of it. The streets are lined with private homes and local businesses: restaurants, hardware stores, groceries, seamstresses and blacksmiths. In recent years English-speaking expatriates have begun to settle here too and have been welcomed by their San Miguelense neighbors.

From our rooftop terrace, you can see the spires of La Parroquia, San Miguel's landmark church, as well as the domes and towers of many other churches and the mountains beyond.
